The Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing

Activity

At the Future of Nematodes Studies 2019, held at Nagoya University on August 22, 2019, Kenichi Nakayama, a student of the Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing (1st year of the master’s course), received the "Excellent Poster Presentation Award," selected from among about 100 participants.

He was highly recognized for his excellence especially his “search for novel photoreceptors using the nematode Pristionchus pacificus.” He had analyzed variants produced by using genome-editing technology and conducted forward-genetics screening.

We look forward to seeing his further success.
