Hiroshima University seeks students who wish to enroll in the “Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing” in April 2022.

Admission Requirements

Life Science Course (5-year curriculum):

 Those who will enroll in the Division of Integrated Sciences for Life (Master’s Course) at Hiroshima University Graduate School of Integrated Sciences for Life in April 2022

Medical Course (4-year curriculum):

 Those who will enroll in the Division of Biomedical Sciences (Doctoral Course) at Hiroshima University Graduate School of Biomedical and Health Sciences in April 2022

1.  Prospective students of the program must pass the above-mentioned examinations as a first step.

*Prospective students are required to apply for the “Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing” as well, even before the graduate schools’ final results have been released.

2.  All applicants must choose a prospective advisor from the list of faculty members and consult him/her about the relevance of the program to the activities they wish to conduct.

Admission Schedule of the program

- Application period: from January 31 (Mon.) to February 4 (Fri.), 2022
- Oral examination:
  February 22 (Tue.), 2022 for Life Science Course
  March 3 (Thu.), 2022 for Medical Course
- Announcement of successful applicants:March 10 (Thu.),2022
