The Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing has launched a social meeting for students enrolled in the program, aiming to provide the opportunity for students, teaching staff, individuals from participating businesses, and the like to meet and mingle with each other, help them share information related to the program and widen their knowledge and horizons, increase students' motivation, and help the participants build their network.

The second meeting on June 3, 2021, which was attended by 22 students and 17 teaching staff members, featured self-introductions by participants and a briefing on enrolling in courses, financial assistance and a mentoring program for students, etc. to help them deepen understanding of the program in the first half. In the latter half, students and teaching staff interacted with each other in small groups.
