The Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing

Activity

TOISHIGAWA Kayo (in the fourth year of the doctoral course, the Graduate School of Biomedical and Health Sciences), enrolled in the Medical Course of the Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing, received the Encouragement Award from the Japan Society for Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation. The award ceremony will be held this year during the 44th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation.

The award was given in recognition of the excellence in content and impact of her research on the theme of "Genome-edited Antigen-Specific Treg for Safer and More Effective Targeted Treg Therapy," which Ms. Toishigawa orally presented at the 43rd Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation. We have high hopes of her further achievements in the future.
