The Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing

Activity

On July 28, 2022, Mr. KATO Masaki (in the second year of the doctor's course, Program of Life and Environmental Sciences, the Graduate School of Integrated Sciences for Life), enrolled in the Life Science Course of the Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing, received Early Career Researcher Runner up Award at the 12th International Symposium on Avian Endocrinology (ISAE2022).
The award was given in recognition of the excellence in his research and presentation on the theme of "Two Novel Hypothalamic Factors, Neurosecretory Protein GL and Neurosecretory Protein GM, Cause Fat Accumulation in Layer Chicks," which Mr. KATO presented at the symposium. We have high hopes of his further achievements in the future.
