Doctoral Program for World-leading Innovative & Smart Education

The third social meeting was held on September 29, 2023, with the theme of " Cross-discipline and cross-university exchanges between the Doctoral Programs for World-leading Innovative & Smart Education (WISE Programs)". It started between the Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing of Hiroshima University and the WISE Program for Nano-Precision Medicine, Science, and Technology of Kanazawa University in 2021, and this year, the Ph. D. Program in Humanics of the University of Tsukuba has newly joined.

The meeting was attended by approximately 60 students and faculty members from the three universities. After the introduction of each program, the students interacted with each other in small groups by sharing information on various topics such as their research project and possible career paths, and had a meaningful time.

*The Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing has been offering social meetings for students enrolled in the program, aiming to provide the opportunity for students, teaching staff, individuals from participating businesses, and the like to meet and mingle with each other, help them share information related to the program and widen their knowledge and horizons, increase students' motivation, and help the participants build their network.
