The Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing

Activity

On October 19, 2023, the Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing held the Advanced Science Seminar on "Developing a Future Society with Genome Editing".

At the seminar, Dr. NISHIZONO Hirofumi, Senior Assistant Professor of the Research Support Center, Medical Research Institute, Kanazawa Medical University, gave a lecture entitled "Current Technology for Generating Gene-Modified Mammalian Animals Using Genome Editing".
Approximately 200 people attended the seminar, and it was a great success. Some of the positive feedback we received included:
"The difference between the iGONAD method and the conventional methods was clearly shown in a diagram and I was able to understand it for the first time."
"The lecture given by a researcher who is actually working in the field of genome editing was very useful".
