Activity

On July 25, 2024, the Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing held the Advanced Science Seminar on "Developing a Future Society with Genome Editing".

At the seminar, Dr. ARIMURA Shinichi, Professor at the Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences, The University of Tokyo, gave a lecture entitled "Current methods for genome editing in chloroplasts and mitochondria and their applications".
Approximately 100 people attended the seminar, and it was a great success. Some of the positive feedback we received included:
"The lecture was very informative and it was also nice that the lecturer answered my questions in detail during the Q&A session."
"The seminar was very useful for learning a lot about genome editing."
