On December 6, 2024, the Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing had organized an online Advanced Science Seminar on "Developing a Future Society with Genome Editing."

In the seminar, Prof. OKUMURA Misako from the Graduate School of Integrated Sciences for Life, Hiroshima University, addressed the audience on the topic entitled "Unraveling the Behavioral Evolution of a Predatory Nematodes Through Genome Editing." With more than 60 attendees, the seminar was a great success.

The Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing shall continue to organize the Advanced Science Seminar Series "Developing a Future Society with Genome Editing" for the purpose of updating the community regarding the Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing and genome editing technology.
