The Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing

Activity

On July 24, 2025, the Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing had organized an online Advanced Science Seminar on "Developing a Future Society with Genome Editing."

In the seminar, Prof. UENO Masaru from the Graduate School of Integrated Sciences for Life, Hiroshima University, addressed the audience on the topic entitled "Exploring novel homologous recombination-related factors using yeast and their application to genome editing." With more than 90 attendees, the seminar was a great success.
Some of the positive feedback we received for the seminar included:
"The basic concepts were explained clearly, making it easy to understand and very informative."
