The Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing

Activity

On September 5, 2025, the third social meeting was held online under the theme of "Cross-discipline and Cross-university Exchanges among the Doctoral Programs for World-leading Innovative & Smart Education (WISE Programs)."

This exchange began in 2021 between students of the Frontier Development Program for Genome Editing at Hiroshima University and the WISE Program for Nano-Precision Medicine, Science, and Technology at Kanazawa University. In 2023, the Ph.D. Program in Humanics at the University of Tsukuba also joined.

This year, more than 50 students participated. They were divided into different groups in the first and second sessions, which allowed them to interact with a greater number of peers. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to exchange opinions and share information with students from other universities, and it was a highly meaningful experience for all participants.
